PARIS: Christmas in Paris with The Dorchester Collection

After spending three days in Zurich, aka Winter wonderland, we got on a train to Paris to enjoy our last getaway of 2017.
During this trip, we got to stay at two of the most beautiful, elegant and luxurious hotels in town: Le Meurice and Hôtel Plaza Athénée by Dorchester Collection

When we checked-in at Le Meurice, we got upgraded to the Executive Suite “Jardin des Tuileries” view and we were so happy!!! As soon as we saw the room, which was almost bigger than our apartment, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset from our window as we nibbled all the delicious pastries by the master of pastry, Cédric Grolet

Everything else about this hotel was everything you can dream of and more. The Christmas decorations inspired by Japanese trees that you can find in the lobby are gorgeous, the Alain Ducasse restaurant is magnifique and the breakfast is really really good (especially the jam; wish we could’ve brought it back home with us!).

After spending two nights at Le Meurice, we checked in at our "haute couture" home, Hôtel Plaza Athénée, for our last night in Paris. This place holds a special place in our heart, as we had brunch here three years ago with our friend Marianna and we were dreaming of going back ever since! Our suite had a huge balcony that overlooked the Eiffel Tower, and having breakfast there (despite the fog) felt like being in the last episode of Sex & The City!
